About Hare and Heron Press

Hare and Heron Press was set up in 2012 by Julian Warrender to publish the first of her books Granny Marmalade and Uncle Tractor. Since then the press has published three more picture books for children and one book for adults 

A memoir for adults of Julian’s upbringing  during the 1950’s in Somerset resulted after a chance request to submit a few memories for inclusion in a history of Burton Pynsent, her childhood home. Julian lives in Sussex, close to her two sons and two grandsons.
